Dallas, Texas - Attorney, Todd Albin, prevailed at the trial court and successfully defended the decision before the Court of Appeals Fifth District of Texas at Dallas, (No. 05-07-00025-CV) in Rushmore Investment Advisors, Inc., V. Melody Frey, on Appeal from the 366th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas.
Mr. Albin successfully argued that the Texas trial court did not have personal jurisdiction over his client. When the plaintiffs appealed the trial court's decision, Mr. Albin briefed the court of Appeals Fifth District of Texas at Dallas, who agreed with Mr. Albin's arguments and affirmed Judge Greg Brewer's decision.
