Ms. Balius focuses her practice in the fields of family law and collaborative law, particularly issues involving divorce, child custody, post-divorce modifications, paternity, grandparents' rights, and child-support issues. She is a member of the Collin County and Denton County Bar Associations.

Ms. Balius brings a wealth of practical experience to the firm having served for ten years as Assistant Attorney General with the Child Support Division of the Texas Attorney General's Office primarily practicing in Dallas, Collin and Denton County Courts. The acute insight this experience provides, as well as the practical view of the realities of family law in North Texas, ensures highly effective advocacy for Albin | Harrison | Roach clients.
Ms. Balius earned a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington; cum laude. Ms. Balius was admitted to practice law in the State of Texas in 1994 by the Texas Supreme Court.
