    Jeffrey Yates joined the firm in February 2005. He primarily focuses his practice in Civil Litigation with particular emphasis on business, real estate and probate litigation. He has represented clients in Federal District Court, Texas state courts, the Texas Court of Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court.

    Mr. Yates’ background includes over three years in the real estate industry working for title companies performing closings, title searches and curing title defects. Subsequently, he worked six years with a Dallas firm practicing civil litigation while working directly with a former probate judge. This broad experience has allowed him to gain valuable knowledge to several areas of litigation which is beneficial to clients with complex litigation matters that often span various areas of the law.

    He is a member of the 2001 Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Leadership Class which founded the Freedom Run which has donated over $100,000 to the Dallas Assist the Officer Foundation. He is also an active member of the Dallas A&M Club, a member of the Association of Former Students (Texas A&M), a member of the Texas Aggie Bar Association and regularly attends The Village Church in Highland Village.
